The eighty year old Cor Geerlings is very happy. Why? Because he will soon get the most prestiuese award in his branche, the Stanley Johnson Medal for his world famous dahlia, the Cornel.

This prestiuese award comes from the American and Candian Dahlia Society.

The Dahlia, The Cornel, will be on the cover of the American Handbook of Dahlia's 2003.
